Improving as You Progress: Embrace the Journey of Change

Chapter 1: The Power of Evolution
It's perfectly acceptable to adjust your plans as you move forward; in fact, it's far better than remaining stagnant.

This morning, I found myself renaming my newsletter for the second time in the past seven months. The initial title has slipped my mind, but I believe it was simply "Coach Wendy’s Newsletter." Initially, I aimed for a name that reflected a focus on mindset, so I transitioned it to the "Mini-Mindset Newsletter," choosing "mini" to signify brief, actionable insights.
However, every time I glanced at that title, it felt off. The word ‘mini’ seemed to imply smallness, which isn’t the message I want to convey. I don’t wish to promote a narrow or limiting mindset—definitely not!
Consequently, it has now become the "Positive Mindset Newsletter with Coach Wendy."
I share this story to inspire you. If there’s something you’re eager to pursue but feel uncertain about the finer details, take the leap! Begin your journey now. It's entirely acceptable to make adjustments along the way (in most situations).
From my experience in coaching, I’ve noticed that many people hesitate for years over their aspirations, often never getting started because they believe everything needs to be perfect.
Since April, I’ve consistently sent out my newsletter every Tuesday, along with a few extra editions, and I’m thrilled to have gathered 95 amazing subscribers.
While this might not seem like a huge number—especially when compared to others—it’s a milestone I take pride in, as well as in my own progress.
Had I been preoccupied with perfecting the name, I might never have launched it when I did, and I certainly wouldn’t have those 95 subscribers today.
Ideally, we would kick off everything exactly how we envision it, but that’s not the reality. The takeaway is that starting—even when things seem imperfect—is perfectly fine. You can always revise and improve later.
Thank you for taking the time to read my thoughts today.
