I never imagined that I would reach the milestone of publishing 50 blogs, but here I am.

As I did with my reflections after 30 blogs, I feel compelled to share what I've learned after hitting this new benchmark of 50.
Before diving in, I highly encourage everyone to start their blogging journey in 2023. Platforms like Medium simplify the process, allowing you to create an account and start writing without the need for your own website. Later, I’ll share my statistics from the past month.
What have I discovered?
The first major lesson is that the quality of your initial 50 blogs may not be great, but improvement comes with experience. I believe the first 10 blogs tend to be subpar, but as you continue, you’ll notice a significant enhancement in your writing. By the time you hit 50, your skills can really shine.
Section 1.1: Essential Tools for Bloggers
What tools have I found useful?
- Grammarly: This is a must-have for everyone. It helps you correct your writing and offers suggestions for enhancing your articles. It's free, so I recommend signing up and giving it a try.
- Medium Topics: This feature allows you to explore various topics if you're unsure what to write about. You can see the number of published stories and the number of writers in each category, giving you insight into your competition.
Self-improvement is a prominent tag, and it appears that many writers focus on this subject.
Tags: While discussing tags, I learned that using 5 relevant tags for each post is beneficial. It's wise to combine popular tags like "Self Improvement" with more niche-specific ones related to your story.
- Title Capitalization: Initially, you may need to use tools to help with title capitalization, but over time, this will become automatic.
- Hemingway Editor: This editor allows you to write and provides suggestions for improvement, such as identifying overly long sentences or unnecessary adverbs.
- Discord: Engaging with Medium-focused Discord communities can be incredibly supportive. You can connect with experienced writers and editors from publications like "New Writers Welcome" and "Illumination." I've found two particularly helpful servers, led by Robin Wilding and Oscar Soto.
- Persistence is Key: I learned that simply continuing to write gives you an advantage over 99% of bloggers who give up. So, keep writing and don't lose motivation, regardless of the challenges.
- Bonus Tip for Increasing Visibility: Utilizing publications can significantly ease the process, especially for new writers. I’ve written about this topic, so feel free to check it out.
