The Inevitable Decline of Big Tech: A Historical Perspective

Written on

Chapter 1: The Erosion of Diverse Thought

In an age where distinguished minds, including Nobel Prize winners and former U.S. Presidents, face systematic suppression, it is increasingly challenging to believe that history will overlook these injustices. With platforms like Twitter and YouTube stifling critical discourse, they risk becoming monotonous and unappealing.

Why is this happening?

These platforms no longer embody the vibrant array of ideas and organic inquiries that once flourished. They lack the raw, unfiltered truths that contribute to meaningful discussions. Instead, they present a facade—void of depth, overwhelmed by vitriol and repetitive propaganda, as the true motivations of their backers become apparent.

Did you know that Google's origins are partially rooted in research funding from the CIA and NSA for mass surveillance? History will ultimately reveal their true place.

Fear-mongering writers are now dominating the narrative, and it's troubling. Recently, I distanced myself from a platform I once cherished, as it has been overtaken by those who exploit fear for personal gain. Welcome to what I call "Intellectual Zombieland."

This situation arises from a system where crony capitalism reigns supreme. With perverse incentives pushing towards an oligarchic regime, the quest for absolute power is palpable.

Some prominent writers on platforms like Medium also manipulate societal divides, thriving on polarization and dehumanization. Many lack a moral compass, showcasing cowardice in the face of corporate guidelines dictating their discourse.

As the truth begins to emerge, these individuals will likely shift their views as if ethics are merely flexible.

The historical context is clear; those who believed they were free in 1934 Germany were tragically misguided.

These actions only serve to stoke the flames of division, which are consuming our societies. Big Tech plays a role in this, leveraging collective shame to stifle independent thought. The audacity of individuals to trust their instincts over corporate-backed science, often rooted in dubious practices, is astounding.

Consider the witch hunts of yore, where "witches" were simply women connected to nature. The cycle of oppression remains unchanged. When force is imposed upon societies, conflict and division inevitably follow.

This isn't a sustainable state; it will not endure. Deep down, many may wish to avoid toxic interactions online, yet the allure of the screen draws them in, contributing to what is branded the "new normal."

But is it truly normal?

Another aspect of this totalitarian trend is the regression of individuals to a childlike state. Losing their dignity and self-respect, many seek safety through punitive measures against those who dissent.

This is a disturbing trend—an endless cycle of shame and blame directed at respected individuals, including Nobel Prize winners. For this reason alone, platforms like YouTube should face severe repercussions for their actions, rather than silencing the most credible voices.

This state of affairs is unsustainable. Humanity's collective fear and guilt have reached alarming levels.

Chapter 2: The Great Purge

I refer to this phenomenon as the Great Purge—humans inflicting harm upon one another due to their dependence on screens. They prioritize comfort over principles and the in-group over those who dare to dissent.

It’s human nature to crave safety, yet outsourcing one's health and autonomy to authority figures has proven to be a poor choice.

When faced with an abuser, it matters not if they wield a weapon; they are wrong and must be stopped. The irony lies in how mainstream media and Big Tech portray them as saviors against an invisible threat—one that requires a massive marketing budget to convince the public of its validity.

This has morphed into a new ideology and a quasi-religion.

How Health has Become an Ideology and Vaccination a Religion

This is a narrative you are discouraged from engaging with.

I eagerly await the day when Big Tech is held accountable for their misguided policies. They have aligned with the prevailing narrative, perpetuating a cycle of fear and hatred akin to mainstream media.

Their actions are driven by profit, prioritizing ad revenue and data collection over ethical considerations. Meanwhile, they suppress those genuinely seeking truth and respect.

Ultimately, truth will prevail. Fear is an illusion; love remains the only undeniable reality.

The current climate is not sustainable. The fearmongers represent a minority, and the tides of change are coming.

I am hopeful for the moment when the truth is revealed, and my favorite platform acknowledges its role in the harm caused worldwide by endorsing a false narrative.

For those willing to see, the truth remains evident, even with our eyes wide shut.
